i am currently reading the book "post-mortem". i want to talk about a part in the book where Dr.Scarpetta is called into margaret's office to talk about something. Apparently someone broke into the system to try to steal information from the case. they suspect it was a news reporter that wanted information to release out into the public. i don't think it was right for them to release information like that because it can put people at risk. also they may put the wrong information out there.
for example now the media has a habit of being nosey and spreading false information. they are always in celebrities lives and ruining it. the media just puts stuff out there and doesn't care about how it affects the people.
that reporter is doing that same thing. all she wants is to get paid and thats it. last time i checked news reporters were supposed to inform the public with good intentions. they don't want them to be harmed or put in danger. so why break in to some ones computer to put the public at risk?
This blog post was fairly interesting and it was nice to read a book about that seems to be philosophical. Your blog post focuses mainly on the storyline; that keeps me on track with you so there wouldn't ever be anything missing out. I think you should incorporate some questions in it though: Does a cop always do the right thing? Cops are like philosophical geniuses; they decide what's right and wrong. But does that mean they're always right? I think, no, I know that your blog post would really be perfect if you had added some provoking details; nice job anyway!
